"Un soplo que vacia el pecho" at the Concert for Peace, in Badajoz

Ensemble Teatro del Arte Sonoro, conducted by Rebeca Santiago Martínez, will perform Un soplo que vacía el pecho, a work by Sergio Blardony based on a text by Pilar Martín Gila. The event will take place at the Palacio de Congresos de Badajoz. It will be on May 29, 7:00 p.m., in a concert for peace, denouncing the war in Ukraine. Also on the program are works by R. Santiago, M. de Alvear, J. Torres, J.M. López López and L. Vega.

"Pasaje" on International Dance Day

Saxophonist Elisa Urrestarazu will perform Sergio Blardony's work entitled Pasaje, for tenor sax and electronics, based on a text by Pilar Martín Gila, on International Dance Day, on the 29th of this month. She will be together with the dancer Ximena Carnevale at the Nerja Museum (Nerja, Málaga, Spain), at 12 noon.

Un soplo que vacía el pecho, for ensemble, on a text by Pilar Martín Gila, will be performed on Friday, March 4, 6:30 p.m., at the Espacio Turina in Seville. Zahir Ensemble will be the group in charge of the interpretation, in which works by Voro García, Eneko Vadillo, Fabián Panisello, Mercedes Zavala and Francisco Martín Quintero will also be performed.

La desolación está al fondo at Guadalajara

The Arcadia guitar duo, made up of Avelina Vidal and Pilar Rius, perform on February 25, at 8:00 p.m., La desolación está al fondo, the work of Sergio Blardony for this ensemble and small electronics. The work is suggested by an installation by Anselm Kiefer. The concert will take place in the Iglesia Del Carmen, Guadalajara.

Aural at Carolina del Norte (USA)

The clarinetist Šarūnas Jankauskas will perform again the work Aural (solo clarinet version) by Sergio Blardony at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro (USA). The concert will take place on Thursday the 24th and the same musician performed it on the 5th at James Madison University, Virginia.


Un soplo que vacía el pecho at Juan March Foundation

Sergio Blardony's work Un soplo que vacía el pecho, for ensemble, based on a text by Pilar Martín Gila, will be performed on Wednesday, February 14, 6:30 p.m., at the Juan March Foundation in Madrid. It will be the Zahir Ensemble that will do it, within a program entitled "Heirs of the Generation of 51", in which works by Voro García, Eneko Vadillo, Fabián Panisello, Mercedes Zavala and César Camarero will also be performed. Previously, at 6 pm, José Luis Besada will interview Zavala and Blardony live for Radio Clásica (National Radio of Spain).
