On Oct. 9, at 12 pm, Auditorium Tres Cantos (Madrid) hosts a concert to be played
Memoria, espacio difuso del olvido, Sergio Blardony piano piece, played by Jean-Pierre Dupuy. The program, part of the XI International Festival of Contemporary Music in Tres Cantos, also includes works by Mercedes Zavala, Carlos Cruz de Castro, Pierre Boulez, Iannis Xenakis and Gonzalo de Olavide.
On Sunday August 7, Florian Popa (clarinet solo) and 10th & Broadway (clarinet quartet), premiered the work of Sergio Blardony Fragmentos de un tiempo deshabitado ("Fragments of an uninhabited time"), written for the ClarinetFest 2011 held in Los Angeles, California, from 3 to 7 of that month. The composition works on a superposition of layers that refer to temporal aspects, and uses the final scene of Michelangelo Antonioni's film L'Eclisse as spatial suggestion.
