"Después del incendio, toda la noche..." at Reina Sofía Museum

On Wednesday, March 4, at 7:30 pm., Francisco Martínez and the team of the CTE (Centro de Tecnología del Espectáculo, INAEM), will world premiere the version with tenor saxophone of Después del incendio, toda la noche..., work on a poetic text by Pilar Martín Gila, for multichannel electronics and video. The piece, which features the voice of soprano Sylvie Robert and the poet in the electronic part, addresses a story that takes place in a zoo in a city in the Balkans during the last war in this region. The lion's roar becomes a symbolic element and essential sound matter in the speech. The work has been awarded in the Laboratorio del Espacio Contest, and the concert will take place within the framework of the V Sound and Audiovisual Spaces Congress, in the Auditorium 400 of the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, together with works by Spiros Papadopoulos, Jorge Antunes, Oriol Graus, Luis Fonseca, Dominic Purdie and Przemysław Scheller.
